Free NHS health check
Everyone is at risk of developing heart disease, stroke, diabetes or kidney disease. The good news is that these conditions can often be prevented, even if you have a history of them in your family.
If you are aged between 40 and 75 you are entitled to have a free NHS health check every 5 years. You will be better prepared for the future and be able to take steps to maintain or improve your health. Even if you are feeling well its worth having your NHS health check now. We can then work with you to lower your chances of developing health problems in the future.
NHS travel vaccinations
The NHS currently provides the following vaccinations exclusively for the purpose of travel:
- Cholera
- Diphtheria/Tetanus/Polio
- Hepatitis A
- Typhoid
We are not able to provide any other vaccinations for the purpose of travel.
All requests must be submitted at least 8 weeks prior to the date of travel. If required you may also be asked to complete a Travel Vaccinations Patient Questionnaire prior to an appointment being offered to you.
Please be aware that we cannot guarantee travel consultations at short notice. If you inform us too late for your trip, you may need to arrange your vaccinations with an alternative travel clinic/pharmacy able to accommodate you.
